Genna's Bio
Genna Kasun is originally from McVeytown, Pennsylvania. She joined the Juniata staff in 2009 as a staff writer in the Marketing and Development Departments.
After graduating from Juniata College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Genna attended the University of Vermont where she received her Masters in English in 2009. During her stay in Vermont, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Vermont. Some of her previous experiences include working as an assistant in the Provost's Office at Juniata and as an office assistant at the Shelter Services Inc. of Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
Genna is married to a fellow Juniata alum, Kevin P. Kasun '06 and they currently reside in Huntingdon. During her downtime, Genna enjoys cooking, writing and reading. Her favorite books are The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri, The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett, any books by J. Maarten Troost and each and every Harry Potter book.

- Mentoring faculty in grant writing opportunities
- Writing institutional grant proposals
