What is your topic?
Answer
I chose to further investigate lead shielding and the ideal operating settings for several of Juniata's instruments.
Q
Why did you choose this topic?
A
My nuclear physics class launched my initial interest in nuclear engineering, the field I plan on entering once I graduate from Juniata College.
Q
What is the ultimate purpose of your research?
A
The information that I have researched can lead the way for improved science labs at Juniata and to develop more complicated experiments with higher accuracy.
Q
Which fields of nuclear engineering are you most interested in?
A
I anticipate on working in the nuclear energy industry, reactor safety, and analysis sectors of nuclear engineering.
