Procedures for Dealing with Academic Dishonesty Cases
Case Records
A record of the settlement of an academic integrity case is kept in the Assistant Provost's Office for a minimum of five years or until the student is separated from the institution, whichever is longer. This record keeping ensures that students who violate the academic integrity policy a second time are dealt with appropriately.
Note: At the end or beginning of semesters, under pressures of time or lack of personnel, the Assistant Provost may accelerate the timing and sequencing of appeal procedures and may appoint available faculty and students as temporary substitutes for absent Academic Judicial Board members.
