Juniata College engages in a self-study

Juniata College is accredited by the Middles States Commission on Higher Education. This accrediting body examines colleges and universities to verify that they are fulfilling their educational mission. The accreditation is renewable every ten years. This year, Juniata will engage in a self-study as preparation to write its report to the Middles States Commission seeking renewal of its accreditation. The Middle States Commission requires that institutions seeking accreditation undertake a self-study--that is, a look at themselves to discover what they are doing, how well they are doing it, and how they can improve.

You can visit the 1998 Periodic Review Report (PDF or Word) that Juniata sent to the Middle States Commission. This report fulfilled the duty of the College to report five years after the last full accreditation.
