The immersion semester, entitled A Sense of Place: Environmental FIeld Semester, will involve up to 14 students living and taking courses completely at the station. The program will include coursework on sustainability, Geographical Information Systems, local history, ecology and economics and dynamics of learning communities. Courses will be taught in block schedules to take advantage of field sites, allowing this experience to be a true immersion in the North Appalachians. The semester is offered every fall - talk to your advisor today about how you can participate!
