Summer Semester
at the Raystown Field Station
Spend June at the Raystown Field Station for the Wildlife Summer Semester! Two courses are bring offered: Ornithology and Mammology. You can enroll in one or both of the classes. Both courses will be field based.

June 1-26th, 2009
 
Ornithology: Presents the biology, ecology and conservation of North American birds. Laboratory focuses on field identification and census techniques. Taught by Dr. Chuck Yohn. 3 credits (2 lecture + 1 lab). $480/credit. 8 AM - noon. Monday through Friday.
Mammology: Examines the comparative biology of living mammals, including their taxonomy, evolution, biogeography, ecology, morphology, physiology and behavior.Co-taught by Dr. Doug Glazier and Dr. Uma Ramakrishnan. 3 credits (2 lecture + 1 lab). $480/credit.1-5 PM, Monday through Friday.
