Not Included

  • An International Teacher ID Card (required), with repatriation insurance and discounted entrance fees at many cultural and historical sites
  • Round-trip travel to the US airport
  • Round-trip airfare to Frankfurt
  • Round-trip train transfer between the Frankfurt airport and Marburg and one night in a hotel each direction
  • A €100 deposit (refundable) for your dorm room
  • A monthly pass for public transportation (approximately €25)
  • Most meals
  • Passport fees
  • Personal expenses; telephone calls and internet cafes, gifts, souvenirs, teaching materials you purchase for home, and additional travel

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is due upon acceptance, received no later than April 7, 2012. The remainder of the money is due by April 15, 2012.


All high school teachers who apply will be considered for scholarship funding. Please inquire for further details. Those who receive a full scholarship will have their $300 deposit refunded on their return from the program.
