You can choose from three freshman admission application deadlines. The time frame you choose depends upon where you are in your college search process. Feel free to contact your enrollment counselor if you would like to discuss which option would be best for you.
Application Deadline February 15, Decision Notification by April 1
Regular Decision applicants can begin and are encouraged to apply early in the fall of senior year. Decision notification can begin as early as mid- February for applicants who have the application process completed. Regular decision students have until May 1 to deposit. If applying for need-based aid, the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) is due February 15.
Early Decision I
Completed Application Deadline November 15, Decision Notification by December 15
Early Decision I (ED I) is a binding agreement available for applicants who know that Juniata is their number one choice. Applicants may only apply Early Decision to one institution. If applying for need-based aid, the Early Decision Financial Aid form is due January 15. A matriculation deposit is due by February 15.
Early Action 1
Application Deadline December 1st
Early Action is non-binding, and applicants can begin early in the fall of senior
year. Decision notifications begin within a month of the application deadline. Early
Action students have until May 1st to deposit.
Early Action II

Spring Semester Enrollment – Students interested in spring semester enrollment need to apply no later than December 1. Earlier is better. In most cases financial aid, housing and transcript evaluation are done prior to December 23.
Fall Semester Enrollment – Students interested in the fall semester should apply by June 1. To receive preferential course registration for the fall, apply by May 13. Financial aid, housing and transcript evaluation are done on a rolling basis.
