Annette Reeder Bair '93
Annette graduated from Juniata in 1993 with a B.A. in Business Management and French. She currently works for TE Connectivity (formerly known as AMP Incorporated) in Harrisburg, PA as a finance manager in the Distribution Channel organization. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the electrical channel sales team and managing the processing and reporting of distributor sales and inventory data. Annette earned her M.B.A. from Lebanon Valley College in 2000.
In addition to Alumni Council, Annette is also active in the Central Pennsylvania Alumni Juniata Club as a member of the leadership team. She resides in Palmyra, PA with her husband Christopher ’92. Sara Davis Bowen '01
Sara received her B.S. in Biology from Juniata in 2001. She then attended the Penn State University College of Medicine/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center where she earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2005. After medical school, she completed her residency in pediatrics in Dayton, Ohio, at the Dayton Children's Medical Center. Sara then worked as a pediatrician for Kaiser Permanente in Napa, Calif., while her husband, a physician for the US Air Force, was stationed at Travis Air Force Base for three years. Sara and Michael have been married for seven years and are thrilled to be back in Pennsylvania upon Mike's completion of his service to the Air Force last year. Christie Brown '92
Christie earned a B.A. from Juniata College in 1992; she’s proud to have written one of the first POEs for a theatre arts emphasis. A veteran fundraiser and arts management professional, her work experience includes tenures at Arena Stage (Washington, DC), Signature Theatre (Arlington, Va.), International Creative Management (New York and Los Angeles), University of Maryland (College Park, Md.) and New Dramatists (New York), where she currently holds the position of director of development. She serves on the advisory board for the Neurotherapy Research and Development Association (Bethesda, Md.). Jack Carton '73
Jack Carton has a B.S. in Economics and Business from Juniata and an M.B.A. in Finance from Temple University.
While at RCA/BMG Entertainment, Jack was influential in evaluating music deals from $200 thousand to $10 million. Amongst one of his
most successful projects was the partnership which brought the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack to BMG, one of the most successful soundtracks of all time. Jack followed that with a successful stint at Sony Music where he was vice president of finance, administration and production. He then became CFO of the British DVD Company Eagle Rock Entertainment, where he negotiated video rights for existing and new productions. He Line Produced the Usher and Pretender concerts in Orlando and Los Angeles respectively. He also generated significant revenue from film and television and played in an important part in a number of syndication deals.
Jack is currently CFO/COO and co-owner of Prolific Media Holdings, a trans Media company in New York with investments in Film, Music, Event Production, Talent Management and Sponsorships. You may contact Jack by e-mail.
Kathleen Charles '05
Katie earned a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science and Economics from Juniata in 2005. Since her graduation, she has been coaching volleyball at the collegiate level at various institutions across the country. She has most recently been employed as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Kenyon College, where she was hired to re-start their varsity program in 2008. She volunteers as a class fund agent for the Juniata Fund and was a member of the class of 2005 Reunion planning committee. Additionally, she will be serving as a teaching assistant for a class held at Juniata entitled The Global Conversation, a course offered through the PACS department. William Chew '64
After Juniata, Bill earned an M.A. in Math at WVU and an M.S. in Operations Research at Stanford. He has worked as a systems engineer for TRW near the Manned Space Craft Center in Houston, then in Sunnyvale, CA and recently retired from Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA. While at Juniata, he ran Cross Country and Track and nowadays likes golf, tennis, biking and hiking. Bill has been active in planning class reunions and Delaware Valley Regional alumni activities and is a co-class fund agent.

Christopher Collins '84
Chris graduated from Juniata with a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry and has most recently been employed by Abbott Laboratories for 27 years as a senior territory manager with the Cardiovascular Care Sales Force. Chris is the past chairperson of the Juniata Scholarship Fund and serves on the Juniata Endowment Committee. He has also enjoyed the opportunity to work with Juniata students interested in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mark Francischetti '76
Since graduating from Juniata with a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration, Mark has enjoyed a career spanning over 35 years in the computer and information technology field primarily in the sales, marketing, operations, consulting, and international arenas.
Mark has served as vice president for professional services at National Cash Register (NCR), executive vice president for marketing & Eastern Region sales at CDI, senior vice president of the Americas at IHS Engineering, and senior vice president Americas for TechTeam Global. Early in his career, Mark was with Texas Instruments and Recognition Equipment.
Mark is an industry recognized operations turnaround expert serving as an enterprise consultant helping stressed companies by augmenting their P&L’s via revenue growth and gross profit enrichment.
Along the way, he also received an M.B.A. from Southwest Texas State University and holds a graduate level Paralegal Certification in Corporate Law.

Lynne Smires Gale '72
Lynne graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in History from Juniata in 1972 and then went on to earn an M.A.T. from Temple University. Lynne spent her entire career as an educator in the public schools of New Jersey. She served as a teacher, a supervisor, a high school principal, and a district administrator before retiring in 2004. Lynne is the Director of the Alternate Route Certification Program at Richard Stockton College in NJ. She lives in Northfield with her husband Jim. Lynne may be contacted by e-mail.
Marissa Gunn '05
Marissa received her B.A. in Socio-Politics and Cultural Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Juniata in 2005, and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 2009. In the year between graduating from Juniata and entering law school, Marissa was an AmeriCorps Volunteer with the Westmorland Volunteer Corps working as a case manager at Bread for the City, a Washington, D.C. nonprofit organization. After law school, Marissa became a staff attorney with the Children’s Law Center in Washington, D.C. where she represented the best interests of children in the child welfare system in their Guardian ad litem Project. Brenton J. Mitchell '06
This self-proclaimed "Doer of Stuff & Things" received his B.S. in the overall college experience with a secondary emphasis in Communications/PACS in May of 2006. Following graduation journeys through California, Louisiana, and Mississippi eventually led to a return to College Hill. For two years he served as a part of JC Student Affairs staff. Restlessness and wonder led him to say goodbye to Central PA and start on a trans global journey to Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.
With a travel experience under his belt, Brenton returned to Central PA and ended up working at Penn State University where he's served as a part of the staff for the World in Conversation for three years. Serving now as a program manager, Brenton's responsibilities include managing and training a world class team of dialogue facilitators as well as supporting research and development initiatives.

Justin Reiter '02
Justin earned his B.A. in Communication/Arts from Juniata College in 2002. After graduation, he began to work for Citizens Bank as a business banker and assistant branch manager in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He eventually moved on to become a wholesale partner project manager for U.S. Bank in Pittsburgh, PA, specializing in prepaid card programs and community banks.
He has been active in the Pittsburgh Juniata Club and represented U.S. Bank at Juniata Career Day in 2010. Justin also currently serves as the "Toasting US!" toastmasters club president, and sings Tenor for the Northway Community Church worship team in Wexford, PA.

Scott E. Snyder '85
Scott graduated from Juniata with a B.S. in Biology and then from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine (Finch School of Medicine – University of Chicago) with a degree in podiatric medicine followed by a lower extremity surgical residency. He established a private practice in podiatric medicine and surgery in York, PA and founded and directed the Wound Care Center at Memorial Hospital. After twenty years in private practice he joined DaVita Healthcare Partners, a Fortune 500 company, in the Hospital Services Group where he is responsible for new acquisitions and implementations of hospitals in the Mid Atlantic area as well as directing the growth of the divisional apheresis program with an emphasis on children with sickle cell disease.
Scott and his wife Sherri have taken an interest in the promotion of the job fair and career opportunities for students graduating from Juniata. They have had the opportunity to sponsor internships for juniors and seniors at Juniata which have included programs at the Smithsonian Institute and with film director Ken Burns in Boston.
He is involved with several organizations in his area and enjoys hunting, skiing and being with family in his spare time.

Michael D. Valdiserri '81
Mike received his B.S. in Business Administration from Juniata in 1981. He was employed for nearly 10 years as an agent and registered representative with the Prudential Life Insurance Company. In 1990, Mike left the insurance industry and ventured into a career in electrical contact manufacturing. Mike is employed by Metalor Technologies Americas-Electrotechnics Division and has held various positions during his career including sales representative, regional sales manager, demand manager, supply chain manager, and his current position of account manager.
Mike resides in Mt. Lebanon, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh, with wife Jeannine. He is the proud father of two sons, Ryan (wife Rebecca) and Julian ’13. When Julian decided to attend Juniata as a student-athlete, Mike was able to classify himself as a ‘born-again Juniatian’. Mike has been extremely active with the Juniata football program, having held the position of vice-president and president of the Juniata Football Parent Booster organization. Jeannine and Mike did not miss a Juniata home or away football game from 2009 - 2013.
Mike has also assisted the JC Admissions staff as a Juniata Admissions Ambassador at local college fairs and has been an active participant of the Juniata Gold Card Program. Mike can be reached by e-mail.
