Homecoming & Family Weekend 2018 on September 28-30 was a Juniata kind of weekend.
The Quad was the hub of activity with children and others young-at-heart enjoying the inflatable games, pottery painting, balloon artists, and other activities. The Marketplace showcased merchandise by Juniata alumni, student clubs, and local businesses. Additional highlights included reunions for the Classes of 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, and a Zero Year Reunion for the newest alumni, the Class of 2018.
President Troha and other members of the Senior Leadership Team shared exciting campus
news during the Forum on the Future, and many guests enjoyed the lively Beer Garden
sponsored by alumni Chris Lampe ’94, production manager, and Zane Miller ’09, cellar lead, of Weyerbacher Brewing Company, Matt Dunn ’01, director of brewing and quality of Southern Tier Brewing Company, Heidi Kratzer John ’97, co-owner of Rusty Rail Brewing Company, and Tim Gill ’08, brewer/operations manager at Wissahickon Brewing Company. Several of the Juniata Eagles athletic teams competed, and academic departments
hosted a variety of activities including alumni career panels and open houses.
Special thanks to all of the volunteers and staff who gave their time to make Homecoming & Family Weekend memorable!
