form or in the schedule below. When you arrive on campus for the weekend, stop by
Registration in the lobby of Ellis Hall to pick up the final schedule of events and
locations.

Juniata Together Virtual 5k

Choose your own route and run, jog, walk, hike, bike, swim or move the 3.1 miles to
complete the race. Each participant will receive a commemorative e-race bib, a t-shirt
if you choose that option, and your registration fee will go directly toward supporting
Juniata students. Use the 2023 Juniata Virtual 5K registration link to sign up for this event.

Juniata Outdoors

These self-guided adventures include hiking the Thousand Steps, exploring the Peace
Chapel, walking and biking on the Rails to Trails, and mountain biking on the Allegrippis
Trails. All fitness and experience levels can be accommodated through one of these
activities. Activities should be able to be completed in approximately two hours or

Exhibitions:
Souls Shot Portrait Project
This project links fine artists with families or friends of victims of gun violence.
The artists meet with the victims' loved ones to learn about the lives they lived.
The goal is to present diverse works that in some way relay graphically, or through
narrative, the essence of the person being portrayed. The mission is to bring attention
to and memorialize the lives lost and tragically altered due to gun violence.
Raystown at 50 (installation in progress)
October 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the completion of Raystown Lake; June 2024
marks the formal dedication. The JCMA kicks off a year of community-wide celebrations
with an exhibition that explores Raystown from many points of view - aesthetic, environmental,
and recreational. Developed and installed by Museum Studies Practicum class.

Cheer on your Juniata Eagles and wear blue and gold! Get in the zone as you catch
a performance by the Juniata College Screaming Eagles Pep Band. Honor members of the
1973 Juniata Football team during halftime as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of
Juniata’s appearance in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.

Enjoy the flavors of Fall featuring breweries with a Juniata connection, including
Juniata Brewing Company (Sean Steeg '00, founder and CEO), Rusty Rail Brewing Company
(Heidi Kratzer John '97, co-owner and Thomas Lantz '20, brewer), Southern Tier Brewing
Company (Matt Dunn '01, vice president of brewing and operations), and Wissahickon
Brewing (Tim Gill '08, brewer/operations manager).
Each registration will include entry into the Beer Garden, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks,
beer, cider, and a souvenir pint glass. Glasses will only be available for pick up
upon check-out at the Beer Garden. A portion of your registration fee will go directly
toward supporting Juniata students. Must be 21 or older and show a photo ID to enter
(children 12 or younger may enter with an adult). Register in advance for faster admission.
