Dr. Troha comes to us after a successful executive career at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, where he served in the roles of vice president for student affairs, vice president for enrollment, and interim president. Join us as we conclude Inauguration Week by welcoming Dr. Troha to his first Juniata Homecoming and Family Weekend.

Browse the collection of books for sale and celebrate the library's golden anniversary. Fifty years ago on September 19, 1963, the college’s entire library collection was moved from Carnegie to the new L.A. Beeghly building. The library dedication followed on October 11 in a convocation that included librarians and delegates from 59 institutions and associations, along with students, faculty, alumni, and friends. Dr. Lawrence Clark Powell (UCLA) gave the dedicatory address in which he noted, “Two things brought me here today…two irresistible temptations…an old river…a new library.”

Watch the Eagles compete on the turf field and enjoy a halftime presentation honoring the 40th anniversary of Juniata Football's appearance in the NCAA Division III national championship Stagg Bowl. Also, the first Stanford Mickle Award, given to Charles Bargerstock ’47 in 1947 for his exceptional accomplishments in football and baseball, will be presented back to the College during halftime. Tickets available at the gate.

Juniata Presents Asphalt Orchestra: Unpack the Elephant
7:30 p.m.

Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts
Asphalt Orchestra is a radical street band that brings ambitious processional music to the mobile masses. Created in 2009 by the founders of the “relentlessly inventive” new music presenter Bang on a Can (New York Magazine), Asphalt Orchestra unleashes innovative music from concert halls, rock clubs and jazz basements and takes it to the streets and beyond. The band brings together some of the most exciting rock, jazz and classical players in New York City who The New York Times called “12 top-notch brass and percussion players.”
