Meet the President - Malibu Reception

Dr. James A. Troha

You're invited to join alumni, parents, family and friends for a reception hosted by Robert ’77 and DawnMarie Cunnion as we welcome Juniata’s new President, James Troha. The afternoon will include casual mingling, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and remarks from President Troha.

Dr. James A. Troha has been named the 12th president of Juniata by the Board of Trustees. He began his official duties following Juniata’s 135th Commencement in May. Troha comes to Juniata after a successful executive career at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, where he served in the roles of vice president for student affairs, vice president for enrollment, and interim president. He is a graduate of Edinboro University, where he also earned a master’s degree in counseling. He went on to complete a doctorate in educational policy and leadership at the University of Kansas. The Juniata and Huntingdon communities welcome Jim, his wife Jennifer and their three children.
