Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

with the CPA Juniata Club

Support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by joining the Juniata CPA team -- and hundreds of walkers -- in the region's event to raise funds and awareness to end breast cancer. This is one of over 270 Making Strides walks in the nation and is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness on how to reduce the risk of getting breast cancer, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.

Can't do the walk? You can financially support one of the participants by clicking here! Don’t forget to wear your blue and gold … or pink!

8:30 a.m. – Walk begins
Instructions on where to meet the Juniata team will be given to walkers before the day of the event.

There is no cost or minimum amount to raise in order to participate. However, walkers do raise much-needed funds to help the American Cancer Society save lives and fight breast cancer. Each walker is encouraged to raise at least $100, but to set an even higher goal. People who can't make a donation or who aren't able to ask others to contribute are encouraged to come out and show support by walking.
