Tour and Tasting at the Philadelphia Brewing Company

with the Delaware Valley Juniata Club

Join alumni, parents, family and friends for an afternoon at one of Philadelphia’s own breweries to learn how beer goes from grain to your glass and a little history as well! Years of extensive renovations have transformed the 1885 original brewery into the beautifully restored facility that stands today. We will enjoy an informal 30 minute tour. Before or after the tour you will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of their selections for free, including the Philly Famous Kenzinger and Walt Whit. The tasting room has plenty of seating available, and the owners encourage you to stay as long as you’d like to enjoy their beers and the company of friends and family.

Beer can be purchased in the shop on the first floor, including a make-your-own variety case. Afterward, feel free to explore the Kensington and Northern Liberties areas, or consider gathering for a late lunch at one of the local establishments. Please join us for a fun afternoon with fellow Juniatians!
