Great company, beautiful weather and lots of “throwbacks” made for a wonderful Alumni Weekend June 5-8 for more than 550 alumni, family, students, staff and friends.

Highlights included many all-class inclusive activities hosted by the Class of ’64, an engaging question and answer session with President Jim Troha and his Cabinet, an open house and tour of the new Hilda Nathan Residence Hall, diverse and engaging Alumni College classes, reunion class gatherings, award ceremonies, a lively All Class Celebration, and the Saturday picnic lunch held under a huge tent on the Quad. The 50th reunion class of 1964 gave a record-breaking gift to the College, and the Classes of ’57, ’59, '69, '74, '79, '84, '89, '94 and Emeriti alumni also celebrated reunions.

Special thanks to all of the reunion volunteers, alumni volunteers and Juniata staff who gave their time to make Alumni Weekend memorable! And, thanks to everyone who attended the big event. How was your weekend? Let us know by completing the Alumni Weekend Survey.

Join us next year at Alumni Weekend 2015, June 4-7.

Don’t want to wait until next year to come back? Homecoming and Family Weekend 2014 is Oct. 17-19. With plenty of fun events and family-friendly activities, it’s a perfect time to visit. Classes of ’99, ’04 and ’09, as well as the Men’s Rugby team and the African American Student Alliance will celebrate reunions, too. If your reunion is coming up and you would like to work with your reunion committee, please contact Dawn Scialabba by e-mail or call the Alumni Office toll-free at 877-JUNIATA (586-4282).
