By this time, you should have received an email communication from Juniata College (JC) announcing the cancellation of our “45+1” class reunion due to increasing COVID concerns. While we, as a committee, are extremely disappointed, we clearly understand JC’s position and decision.
Rather than advocate a “45+2” reunion next year, our committee has now placed our focus forward toward the “BIG 50” in 2025. In the interim, let’s work on increasing our interactions. Talk to your friends from the Class of ’75. Take the opportunity to get together in smaller groups when COVID concerns lessen. Visit the Class of 1975 Facebook page, content is changing regularly. The committee has also started to prepare a '75 class history by highlighting many of our experiences and recollections. The first edition, 1970-71 can be found here. Each year going forward to our 50th reunion will add the next chapter. We would like to make this a living document that will grow with input and contributions from more classmates. Add your own stories by sending them to Don Tobias at firstname.lastname@example.org. And finally, PLEASE consider getting involved with the planning committee. The more thoughts and inputs we get, the better!!!
To close, we are all disappointed that the Class of 1975 won’t be together this fall. It’s important that we remain safe. Ongoing vaccination efforts and boosters are important and don’t forget your flu shots this year. We all look forward to meeting again for the 50th in 2025. Stay in touch!

UPDATE 9/3/21: The College has been closely monitoring the changing recommendations regarding COVID precautions. The decision was made to not have in-person reunions and all other events scheduled for that time. While we regret that we won't gather in-person for your 45+1 Reunion October 7 - 8, we believe that this decision best supports the safety and wellbeing of the entire Juniata community. Please check back for more information from the College and from the Class of 1975 Reunion Committee.
If you need to cancel lodging reservations, contact information is available here. Details regarding refunds for those who had already registered for the October 7-8 event will be provided. If you have questions, please contact the Alumni Office at email@example.com or (814) 641-3443.
