Florida Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory

An intimate group of seven alumni, family and friends gathered at The Cheesecake Factory (St. John’s Town Center) for dinner in Jacksonville, Fla., on February 28, to help Juniata kick off a string of seven events in 10 days in the Sunshine State.
After social time in the bar area to start the evening, those in attendance sat down for a delicious dinner and in the middle of the action was Juniata special guest Betty Ann Cherry, a former professor at Juniata, who told tales and amazed the group with her memory of all things related to Juniata. Director of Alumni Relations Bub Parker ’91 and Director of Planned Giving Kim Kitchen mingled with the group and provided updates from Juniata and answered questions that those in attendance had.
Thank you to Annette Oberdorf Krecic ’90 for volunteering to organize and host the gathering. There was discussion of next year’s event as well which will take place around the same time of year.
Thank you to everyone who attended this wonderful event! Let us know what you thought of it by submitting a Past Event Evaluation.
