JC-DC Alumni Club Family Day at the National Zoo

Alumni, family and friends came together for a wild time on Saturday, May 5th for the JC-DC Alumni Club's Family Day at the the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. The weather was cool and cloudy, with a few raindrops toward the end of the afternoon, but it was perfect for walking the "safari" trail mapped out by Bruce Moyer '74 and JoAnn Bowman '75. The group of 21 enjoyed lunch on the patio at the Panda Cafe, and JoAnn tested attendees' knowledge of the animals they would see on safari. David Corman '77 said, "We did well - as you would expect of JC grads - but I think the children were quicker and more creative with their responses!"
The decades of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s were represented at this family-friendly event.
Special thanks to Bruce Moyer '74 and JoAnn Bowman '75 for organizing this event!
Thank you to everyone who attended! Please let us know what you thought of it by submitting a Past Event Evaluation.
