For the second year, the Delaware Valley Alumni Club joined the JC-DC Alumni Club in The Juniata College Job Shadow program. This year's Kickoff event for the Philadelphia area was hosted by Doug '92 and Lisa '90 Jenkins at their home in Collegeville on Sunday, March 26th.

A total of 29 Juniata alumni, current students, family and friends gathered for the afternoon, including nine Juniata students who were on hand to meet with their Job Shadow hosts. On Monday, March 27th, these students went to work with Juniata alumni and friends who volunteered to host students at their place of work.

At the alumni gathering, Ty Furman '90, who organized the program in Southeastern Pennsylvania, welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming. He also thanked the alumni hosts for giving their time to help current students. Jim Lakso, Provost and Vice President for Student Development, spoke to the group about the impact that alumni can have on a student's career search. The decades of the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s were all represented by Juniata graduates.

Thank you to Doug and Lisa for hosting this event and for all of their work to help make the gathering a success.
