Addressing your mail. Let your family members know too!

Always use your box number. Here’s an example:

Your Name
Juniata College
Box Number
1700 Moore Street
Huntingdon, PA 16652

If there are not enough address lines (as is the case on some websites) include your box number as part of your name like this:

How to receive your packages

When a package arrives for you, you will receive an email from the Juniata Post Office letting you know it has arrived and is ready for pick up. Before coming to the counter, go to your mailbox and pick up a white slip. Present the slip at the window to receive your package. You will also need to bring your Juniata Gold Card with you so that we can confirm each student receives his or her own packages.

Unable to pick up your package during our window hours?

No problem! Here’s what to do:
1. Reach out to a trusted friend or roommate.
2. Email JCPOSTOFFICE@juniata.edu the person’s name you give permission to pick up your package.
We will only give out your package to the person you designate in the email.

Summer Break and your mail

On Monday following Commencement, all students' mail will be forwarded to home addresses. If you are planning to live on campus over summer break and would like to continue to receive your mail on campus, please sign up for this service at the campus post office.

Study Abroad and your mail

Eagles Abroad students' USPS mail will be forwarded to home addresses the beginning of the abroad semester. For actual dates, contact the post office. Eagles Abroad students' packages delivered by services OTHER than the USPS (such as UPS, FedEx, UDL, etc.) will be returned to shipper. The campus post office is not able to store or forward packages sent by services other than USPS.

Forwarding mail will stop four weeks before the start of the following semester. For actual dates, contact the post office.

Before you go aboard - important note from Juniata's post office

If you would like your USPS mail sent anywhere other than your home address, please stop by the campus post office to update your address.

If you have an extremely important letter or package due to arrive before your departure, let us know as soon as possible so we can help you and watch out for it.

If your plans have changed and you are not going abroad, please let us know. We receive the list of students going abroad, but we do not receive updates to that list.
