Training and Opportunities
The museum profession is a dynamic, competitive environment. Although entry level positions can be obtained with a Bachelor of Arts degree, the Masters degree--particularly in museum studies, art history, or a related discipline--is the minimum degree for professional advancement. Those who seek professions in the curatorial departments will find that a Ph.D. is the necessary terminal degree.
