A specialist on Greek political thought in the time of Aristotle will speak on "Amassis' Footpan and Tecmessa's Crown: The Relationship Between Husbands and Wives in Aristotle's Politics" at 4 p.m. March 22 in 202 Good Hall on the Juniata College campus.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

Leslie Rubin, visiting assistant professor of political science at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, has published a variety of articles and papers on Greek politics and Aristotle. She has been a visiting professor at Duquesne since 1996. She also served as visiting professor at the University of Houston from 1986 to 1987 and at Kenyon College in Ohio in 1986.

She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. in 1976 and earned a master's degree and doctoral degree from Boston College, both in political science.
