HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Dr. Peter Lund, president-elect of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and a practicing physician in Erie, Pa., will speak at Juniata College on \"Issues in Tort Reform and Medical Liability in Pennsylvania,\" at 8:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, in Neff Lecture Hall in the von Liebig Center for Science on the Juniata campus. The talk is free and open to the public. The talk is sponsored by the Juniata student organization, Health Occupations Students of America. Dr. Lund is a urologist and a urologic surgeon with Allied Urology Associates in Erie, Pa. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association. He also is certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Lund earned a bachelor\'s degree at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and went on to earn his medical degree at Northeastern Ohio University. He completed his urology residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. The Pennsylvania Medical Society is an association of 20,000 physicians and medical students whose mission includes: representing doctors in public venues such as government, media and insurance proceedings; providing expert services and professional support in medical practice issues; be an advocate for patients; and advance public health, public policy, medical science, education and ethics.
