Juniata Swimmers Offer Swim Lesson To The Community

HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Juniata College women\'s swimming team will be holding swim lessons for the local community beginning Tuesday March 20 in the Binder Natatorium in the Kennedy Sports & Recreation Center. The lessons are for children of all ages and ability levels and will focus on learning techniques as well as a love of being in the water. Lessons will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the exception of the week of April 1 when they will be held on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the Easter Holiday. The sessions will begin at 6 p.m. and last until 6:45. The cost is $60 for the first swimmer, and $40 for each additional family member. Pre-registration is available by contacting Juniata Head Swim Coach Brian McGrath at (814) 641-3717. Registration will also be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. prior to the first lesson.
