MADISON, N.J. -- The Juniata College men\'s cross country team was picked to finish third in the inaugural season of Landmark Conference competition, while the women\'s squad was picked fourth, in preseason voting by the league\'s head coaches and sports information directors. Juniata claimed 61 points in the poll, trailing only preseason pick Susquehanna with 64 points and the United States Merchant Marine Academy with 63 points, in what was the tightest voting of any of the Landmark Conference\'s six fall preseason polls. Trailing Juniata were the University of Scranton (42 points), Catholic University (41 points), Moravian College (29 points), Goucher College (19 points), and Drew University (17 points).
