HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College Campus Girl Scouts, will hold a World Thinking Day event for area Girl Scouts where participants can earn two badges, starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 21 in Alumni Hall in Brumbaugh Academic Center on the Juniata campus.

The event is open to all elementary school girls. Sponsored by the Juniata Campus Girl Scouts and Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, the event has a $5 fee, which includes badges, activities and lunch. Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania is a United Way partner agency.

Registration is requested in advance by Feb. 17. To register ahead of time, contact Anna Elias at (800) 692-7816, ext. 1806, or aelias@gshpa.org.

Registration for the event is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies are at 10:30 a.m.

The activities period starts at 11 a.m. and lasts two hours. Lunch is scheduled at 1 p.m.

The second activities period is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
