HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College will hold a Huntingdon Community Day that will start with personal tours and end with a chance to see the Juniata Eagles football squad, starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at Ellis Hall on the Juniata campus.

James A. Troha, president of Juniata College, will greet visitors beginning at 10 a.m. in the Ellis Hall lobby and encourage participants to take tours of Juniata's campus.

"Come to campus and learn about progress on Juniata's strategic plan, the campus master plan, and momentum toward ensuring a strong future for the college," Troha says. "Those joining us for the tour or program will receive tickets to see the Juniata Eagles take on the Dickinson Red Devils in our first home football game, so wear your blue and gold."

At 11 a.m., Troha and his senior leadership team will present an outline of the college's future plans in "Juniata College: 2020 and Beyond" in the ballroom of Ellis Hall. Juniata's senior leadership team includes: Lauren Bowen, provost, Gabe Welsch, vice president for advancement and marketing, Rob Yelnosky, vice president for finance and operations, Anne Wood, chief information officer, Fumio Sugihara, vice president for enrollment; Kris Clarkson, dean of students; and Bethany Sheffield, executive assistant to the president.

Lunch will be served on a pay-as-you-go basis in Ellis Hall dining facilities at noon.
