(Posted February 15, 2016)
HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- More than a dozen national companies and local and regional firms will seek out promising students who would be good fits for jobs, internships or networking connections at Juniata College's Career Fair, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, in the Kennedy Sports and Recreation Center intramural gym.
The fair features more than 115 employers from Pennsylvania and across the country, including such Fortune 500 companies as AIG Financial Network and Ricoh USA. Some 500 resume-carrying students toured the career event last year. In addition, there will be recruiters from such federal agencies as the Peace Corps, the FBI and all the military services, such as the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.
Students who visit the fair are encouraged to dress in professional business attire.
The program on the day of the Career Fair begins with employer check-in at 11 a.m. There will be refreshments served, along with a light lunch, during the hours of the fair.
