Juniata Presents Seán Heely's Celtic Christmas: A Festive Journey of Music and Tradition
(Posted December 1, 2025)
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Celebrate the season with music and tradition as Juniata Presents welcomes Seán Heely’s Celtic Christmas with a night of holiday cheer that welcomes every family.Â
The U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and a cast of nationally-acclaimed Celtic performers will take the stage in Rosenberger Auditorium at the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, at Juniata College. Easy parking, affordable pricing–tickets start at $20, with $12 for seniors and youth, and free admission for Juniata students with ID.Â
Kilts and tartans will abound as audiences tap their toes to the sound of fiddle, highland pipes, harp, percussion, bouzouki, bass, guitar piano, harmonium, and more. Ancient Gaelic carols and songs blended with lively Irish tunes and familiar Christmas melodies (with a Celtic twist) create a magical winter tour through the Scottish Highlands and across the rugged Irish coast, sweeping the audience away to Christmastime and Winter Solstice celebrations. Â
Heely is a virtuoso fiddler, singer, harpist, and composer who blends traditional music with classical finesse. He has performed internationally at acclaimed venues like the Kennedy Center and Strathmore, sharing the stage with icons such as Natalie Haas, Bonnie Rideout, and Paddy Keenan. Heely is a passionate ambassador for Gaelic culture through performance and teaching. Â
