Biography
Originally from Huntingdon, PA, and a graduate of Washington and Lee University, Frazier-Yoder received her M.A and, in 2009, her doctoral degree in Spanish literature, both from the University of Virginia. She administered the University of Virginia study-abroad program in Peru for five years, and she frequently worked with the Charlottesville Latino population in course and service work. Frazier-Yoder's professional interest is 20th century Latin American literature. She has been teaching Spanish language and Hispanic literature at Juniata College since 2009 where her teaching and research have focused on gender constucts, metafiction, and the intersection of poetry and popular culture.
