What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite Juniata tradition hands down has to be Mountain Day. I love enjoying the lake with my friends when we should be in class. My favorite part of the day is kayaking or going out on my friend's boat. A close second is the ice cream or rita's truck.
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
Juniata stood out to me during my college search process because it was the only school I applied to where I didn't feel like a number. My coach was checking on me every week asking me how school was going, Rob Yelnosky, VP of enrollment at the time, would call me and ask me how my musical was going, and so many other Juniatians made me feel like they wanted me to be there.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Jared LaGroue is my professor, advisor, and favorite faculty member on campus. He has taught me so much in and out of the classroom and has connected me to so many people in the media industry. Not only does he care about my education, but my college experience. Jared and I enjoy having jam sessions and having game nights with other students in our free time. He has made it a priority to help me and my friends have the best college life possible while making sure we're ready for the real world.

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
All of them! But if I had to choose one, it's Tenting! The nights are cold in November, and we at Juniata decide to spend a week in tents. With classes, exams, and other co-curricular activities going on, we take part in talent shows and 2 am scavenger hunts, all to get the best table at Madrigal (another amazing tradition). Tenting is the most competitive, fun, challenging, tradition at Juniata.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Rob Yelnosky has been my professor, adviser, mentor, my support system and most importantly, my friend. He has guided me through my academic journey here and has helped me navigate this new chapter in my life called college. We've had long conversations pondering on the meaning of life, we made (well tried to make) butter chicken together, and even played FIFA! I am grateful to have Rob Yelnosky at Juniata!

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
Madrigal is my favorite Juniata tradition. Aside from getting to dress up, being served by professors, and enjoying good food the sense of community you get from "singing" the 12 Days of Christmas and holding candles for Oh Holy Night always fill me with so much warmth and love for all of my friends. It is a special holiday moment every year.
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
The college decision was not easy, but when I look back I knew I wanted to come to Juniata College after hearing President Troha talking about his philosophy on leadership and seeing the community he had fostered between the students and the administration.
What is your favorite space on campus?
Good 320. I have done countless class and homework hours in that room it became a second home on campus aside from my room.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Dr. Jack Barlow and Provost Lauren Bowen
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
If there is something you want, do not be afraid to ask for it.
What do you wish you knew during the college search process?
I wish I had known more about the time it takes. It took me a while for me to realize that a simple tour wasn't enough to get to know a campus fully but it is a great start.

Mountain Day of course! Free food, lots of activities, a lake surrounded by all of your friends and favorite professors, what's not to love?
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I think I was hoping all during my college search process that there would be an "ah ha" moment when I finally knew exactly where I wanted to go and what I wanted to study, but that moment never came. My uncertainty was really what made me choose Juniata. I was uncertain about if I would be able to do all of the activities I wanted to do in college. I was uncertain about what I wanted to study. I was even uncertain about how much fun I'd be able to have while still getting good grades at a school. After learning about and visiting Juniata, I realized I could participate in a lot of things on campus such as athletics, government, employment, and clubs. I saw that I could individualize what I wanted to study and easily change my focus if I wanted to. I also learned about Juniata's fun traditions and met students who seemed to be welcoming and fun. I didn't have a ton of certainty during my college search, but it led me to eventually be secure in my decision to attend JC.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
The college search throws a lot of data and information your way. The one thing I think some students forget to consider is the actual feeling of inclusion or belonging you need to feel at a school. When you learn about or visit colleges, make sure you think about if would truly feel at home at the school. One of my favorite things about Juniata is the sense of community I feel at the school. I feel valued and a part of something at Juniata, and you should too, no matter where you go!

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite Juniata Tradition is Tenting! A tradition where students sleep in tents on the quad for an entire week while participating in challenges in order to gain best priority when choosing tickets for our winter formal; Madrigal. It sounds crazy at first; but camping outside on the quad for a week, participating in outrageous activities like dance competitions, chubby bunny, and relay races at all hours of the night, all being surrounded with others who all just want to have fun, makes for the best week of the year!
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I chose Juniata because it gave me the opportunity to easily individualize my studies to what I wanted them to be. I knew going into my college search that I wanted to study Graphic Design and applied and got accepted into some great programs at other institutions. But the defining moment for me was finding out that I didn't have to prioritize my many academic interest at Juniata. I was able to combine classes within our Integrated Media Arts, Communication, and English department to create a POE that defined who I am asa student. Throughout my time here I have been able to develop my technical design skills as well as my communication, writing, and critical thinking skills, which makes me not only a better professional but a better global citizen.

Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
I met Dr. Kathy Westcott during orientation the summer before my freshmen year at Juniata College. Although we did not talk much beyond classes and the Psychology POE, the warmth and support she showed me did not go unnoticed. I was ecstatic when I came back in August and found out that Kathy was officially my academic advisor! For the past four years, Kathy has truly seen my growth, and her support for me has never wavered once. Not only have I taken many of her courses, I have also had the opportunity to be in her research lab, and connect beyond the school setting (like watching her perform in the Huntingdon Dance Academy's Nutcracker show!). One thing that I have to truly thank Kathy for is her honesty and true willingness to be there for me. She is the one who guided and encouraged me to explore the field of International Higher Education. Even though this means that I will no longer be continuing Psychology after Juniata, Kathy knew that this was where my heart is and still wholeheartedly supports me in my explorations in this field. She truly is a testament to how incredible Juniata professors are and how much they connect with us beyond the simple academic setting.
What do you wish you knew during the college search process?
There is more than just logistics that you consider when looking for a college. For me, I felt lost during my college search. I looked at many schools in a variety of states, but I didn't know what I was actually looking for, what questions to ask, and most importantly, didn't realize that I was supposed to look beyond the finances and logistics when picking my next home. In financial and logistical terms, Juniata wasn't number one for me. I wasn't even planning to set foot on this campus before declining Juniata's offer. It was when I did visit this campus, however, that I realized that there is something about Juniata that is indescribable and cannot be understood without physical interaction with the campus community. I am forever thankful that I did decide to make the trip out to Huntingdon, PA to explore this campus because it is what taught me that a college experience should not solely be defined by the logistics.

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite Juniata tradition is tenting week. In the fall, students can tent on the quad of the campus for a week. I love how so many friend groups interact with one another to participate in group activities. Every night each tent competes in a new activity such as a scavenger hunt, talent show, fashion show, and movie-making competition. Juniata students take tenting week just as seriously as they take finals week. Tenting week showcases the creativity and humor of the student body.
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I chose Juniata because it is a supportive college that encourages exploration.
What is your favorite space on campus?
My favorite space on campus is at top of the Halbritter Center for Preforming Arts. At night, it's pretty dark but you can see the lights of Sunderland and Keppel. The view is incredible.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Professor Wei-Chung and I have a great relationship. He started out as my academic advisor freshman year, but now he's just the professor I always see at the gym. I think our relationship peaked when he told me "get it girl" at the gym.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
I would tell myself that it's not all about the college you choose; it's about making an effort to take advantage of the resources a college offers. You have to put yourself out there, explore, and make friends.
What do you wish you knew during the college search process?
I wish I wasn't so stressed out making a college decision. I wish I knew that the college you choose to attend doesn't define the rest of your life. Moreover, the people you meet at college will become your life-long friends. College is the chance for you to learn about the world while you explore who you.

Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I transferred to Juniata College after attending Penn State Altoona for a year. I was not happy with my current campus at PSU so I decided to visit after the mock trial coach reached out to me to join the team. I chose Juniata because after just one visit, I felt that everyone cared about my studies and my future. Everyone was very concerned and helpful to make sure I received the resource I needed to fulfill my goals. I was very scared to attend a new college and start off, but having the support of complete strangers was the most defining moment during my search.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
I would tell current high school seniors to keep your options open and your mind open. I was set on attending my PSU because it was comfortable- it was close to home and I like the campus. I didn't visit many other colleges and was set on going to PSU.

My favorite place on campus has to be the Physics Lounge. Entering the lounge is like entering a new planet, with crazy signs, posters and paint everywhere. Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?

My favorite Juniata tradition is Mountain Day. There is nothing better than getting a day off from classes and heading down to Raystown lake with your friends.
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
Juniata offered me everything I wanted from athletics, to education, and community. Juniata offered me the opportunity to play the game of basketball at a collegiate level, a great level of education that will prepare me for life after college, and everyone at Juniata was so welcoming when I was visiting.

Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I chose Juniata because of the care and support the professors have for their students success, reputation with students pursuing health profession career tracks, the beautiful campus and surrounding area, the community, and most importantly because of it feeling like home. My first introduction to Juniata College was through the head women's lacrosse coach reaching out to me after a game at a lacrosse tournament. In first talking to her, I knew that I had to look at Juniata. I feel that the biggest representatives of a campus are those who work there. Coach Radio was excited not only about lacrosse, but also about the opportunities that Juniata College had with academics. At the time I was a junior in high school and had visited a few colleges, but none really had felt right to me. After my first visit to Juniata College, I found myself not wanting to leave. After leaving, I couldn't stop thinking and talking about the college and my visit there. The summer going into my senior year I visited campus by myself for a lacrosse prospect day. I remember driving onto campus, looking around and crying because it brought back my memories of my previous visits to campus. I loved it there so much. That was the defining moment in my search process where I knew that this was the place I wanted to call home for the next four years.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
During my Fall Semester this past year, I had the incredible opportunity to take a short term study abroad course about Barbados. This course was co-taught by a professor from the biology department, Dr. Muth, and a professor from the history department, Dr. J. Tuten. I had a class with Dr. Muth during my first semester at Juniata, but I would not have considered my relationship with him before this course that strong. When registering for classes, the Barbados course was closed, so I reached out to Dr. Muth expressing my interest if there were any available spots. I received an email about two weeks before the fall semester of him letting me know a spot opened up and it was mine if I was still interested. Between the nearly two hour class every Monday fall semester and the two week trip abroad to Barbados, I developed a strong relationship with both professors. During the fall semester, I spent multiple hours emailing and meeting with Dr. Tuten about a paper for the class that I had struggled with writing and editing. Dr. Muth helped answer questions I had about a presentation we had to give about a Barbados plant we chose. These two professors were so helpful outside of the classroom, and I feel they exude what Juniata College is all about; challenging students and making themselves available for help and guidance during those challenges. While in Barbados, both professors made an effort to talk to each person on the trip every day, whether that be during meals, on the bus, or during activities, we had planned for that day. After arriving back on campus, I often see both professors and talk to them about my classes, life, and lacrosse. They even organized a dinner for everyone in the class to get together again and catch up. These are two professors that I admire, respect, and am lucky to have a strong relationship with.
What is your favorite thing about Huntingdon?
My favorite thing about Huntingdon is the community. Any interaction I have had with anyone on or off campus has been positive. I feel like everyone here is supportive, trusting, and kind. I often go to Standing Stone at least once a week to do work. The one day this past semester I was there the day before Valentine's Day. I was alone doing work, and a group of older men were gathered catching up and talking. At one point the one older man walked around the shop and handed everyone there cookies that his wife had made for the holiday. He raved to everyone about how amazing they were and how he hoped we enjoyed them as much as he did. He wished each person a happy Valentine's day then went back to his group of people and continued with his conversation with them. I think this action alone speaks to Huntingdon being a community full of kind-hearted people.

Tenting, of course! It's truly the best display of Juniata's culture and community. 50+ teams of students camp out on the quad and compete in ridiculous competitions at all hours of the night--all in the name of Madrigal dinner tickets! Talent shows, scavenger hunts, break dance battles, impromptu speeches on the Founders steps... every group on campus gets involved, and every group gets SUPER into it. It's also in November, during midterms, so all week you feel like you're on overdrive switching between between writing essays for class and slam poems for the talent show. It's AWESOME. My junior year, my friends and I won Head Tent, and we were handed an air horn and $60 and put in charge of the week's activities. The rush you get from waking up the Tenters at 4am with an air horn? There is really nothing that compares. We even made all the Tenters come to our field hockey game for points. They roasted us all night for that--it was kinda sweet.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Dr. Lynn Cockett in the Communication Department has become one of my close friends and strongest advocates. She asked me to TA her Intro to Human Communication class (one of the most popular on campus!) my sophomore year and I've had a class with her every semester since! My favorites were Women, Work, and Identity, where we all became feminists, and Intercultural Communication, where we had deep, hard conversations about race. Lynn is my senior thesis advisor, so every Wednesday we meet (even over Zoom!) and have scholarly conversations about my research in gender and sexuality. She invites all of her students over to her house for pancakes during finals week to take a break from work or talk through assignments. Lynn came to almost every home field hockey game of mine. When we played in a championship game 2 hours away, she surprised me with a poster with my face on it!

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite tradition is Liberal Arts Symposium. This is "Mountain Day of the Mind". On this day, students showcase their research, art, music, scripts, business start ups, and thesis work from the past year. We do not have class this day so we can go and learn from other students and support our peers in their careers. There's art exhibits, performances, oral presentations, film showings, and poster presentations. The possibilities are endless and I think it is such a beautiful on Juniata's campus.
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I was drawn to Juniata because of the Raystown Field Station and the study abroad opportunities. I decided to come here though because of the students and the community. I was in awe by the friendliness, the willingness to accommodate, and the passion/drive that Juniata students had. I wanted to be one of them and be their friend.
What is your favorite thing about Huntingdon?
My favorite thing about Huntingdon is the unique storefronts available and the endless nature that surrounds it. Yes, it is small, but it has so much to offer and the business owners are friendly. What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
Tenting I love tenting because it is a week on Juniata's campus when the community truly comes together. It is a week of laughter for many and tears for some (if you have midterms). But the best part is if anyone is struggling, there is always another Juniatian there to help. It sounds super cheesy, but it's true. I remember my Sophomore year when I was tenting, there was one night that was super cold, I think it went down to 20 degrees. My one friend who wasn't tenting brought hot chocolate out to me and my tent. It's the little things that count. As a senior this year, I've begun to see it's the little moments at Juniata that will stick with me the longest.
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
When I came to Juniata, I was actually on a trip to my Grandma's and my Dad asked if I wanted to stop and take a look at the school. We didn't set up a tour, we just walked around the quad and checked out a few buildings. It was in the middle of April and it was pretty sunny. Throughout the hour or so that we were visiting, at least eight people said hello to us. Students were out on the quad playing volleyball and frisbee. It was beautiful. That day I decided Juniata was my school because I felt right at home.
What is your favorite space on campus?
The easy answer is definitely the quad. However, my favorite time to be on the quad is either early in the morning with my coffee sitting in the adirondack chairs, or late at night stargazing with my friends. It's extremely peaceful.
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Amanda Page: When I'm bored I email her asking for new books to read.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
Go with your gut. When I was looking at Colleges, all of them were starting to blend together. The worst part was that I felt so out of place walking around all the campus'; I never felt like I could belong there. If you feel warm inside and you just can't stop smiling, then you have found your new home. This is how I felt when I came to Juniata.
What do you wish you knew during the college search process?
Just because they have a great program or cool housing does not mean they are the school for you. The nitty gritty is not what you want. What you should be prioritizing is answering the question: What makes you happy?
What is your favorite thing about Huntingdon?
The hiking trails. If you're an outdoorsy person, there are literally hiking trails right on Juniata's doorstep.

I have become close with my pre-dental advisor, Dr. Jim Borgardt. He has been my advisor since freshman year and has been critical in aiding my development as a student at JC. He has been integral in supporting me through my journey to become a dentist. He's the best!
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
When I was searching for colleges, I was worried that I wasn't going to find the school for me. I also didn't know what it would feel like when I found the right school. Choosing a place to learn and live for 4 years is daunting! It wasn't until I found Juniata that I truly felt a sense of comfort and calm. It was that "gut-feeling" that led to me confidently choose Juniata. So, the best advice I can give is to listen to your instincts and enjoy the process!
What is your favorite thing about Huntingdon?
Huntingdon is very quaint with many small businesses and restaurants that are awesome! Additionally, it is easy to connect with nature as there are many spots in this area to explore and enjoy. Lake Raystown and 1000 Steps are some of my favorites!

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
Out of all of Juniata's traditions, my favorite Juniata tradition is Mountain Day. There is absolutely nothing like having classes cancelled, but Mountain Day is the epitome of cancelled classes. None of the students know when Mountain Day will be so the running joke is "Mountain Day is tomorrow!!" On Mountain Day, all of the students are given the opportunity to go to Raystown Lake to enjoy a picnic, go hammocking, enjoy some kayaking, yard games and inflatables. This past year we even had Rita's Italian Ice!
What is your favorite space on campus?
My favorite space on campus is the little coffee shop upstairs in BAC. I enjoy this spot because it is filled with sunlight and on a beautiful fall morning I can take my coffee out on the balcony where I can see all of my fellow classmates and professors criss-crossing the quad.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
Some advice that I would give to a current high school senior is relax and stay focused. Plan out your schedule beforehand. Ask questions, because you may be surprised by how many other students have the same question. Lastly, be a part of the community. Start out small and build your connections.

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite Juniata Tradition is definitely Mr. Juniata! It's always so much fun seeing everyone having so much fun performing their talents and the themes are always spectacular, plus the money raised always goes to a different great cause.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
The biggest piece of advice I would give: Ask questions! Whether it be to faculty, staff, or current students, ask as many questions as you can think of during your college search, even if you think its a "silly" question. Everyone is always more than happy to answer your questions, and the more information you have, the easier (hopefully!) your decision will be.

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
I love tenting! It's such a unique tradition of sleeping on the quad but behind all of the crazy activities, it's a week or so when friends band together to be fun and creative. It is always really nice to see the different tents each year and how people work together to get more points. I always also wind up laughing at every challenge, Juniata students get so into tenting!
What is your favorite space on campus?
My favorite space on campus is the theater! I love to do my school work in there because I feel like being in that space makes me more creative. I often will stow away there during finals week taking frequent breaks to dance and sing like a small child as study breaks or rewards for finishing an essay. I have great memories in that building from the shows I've done at Juniata, so it feels like a safe spot for me.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
Take your time deciding where you want to go! I remember how anxious I was to have an answer when my relatives asked me where I chose to attend college, but this decision is for you! Really take some time to think about what you value and want in the next four years of your education. Use every opportunity schools give you to look at the college, like open houses or overnight visits. This is a big decision and you should make it with as much background information as possible. Take a deep breath, this is your choice!
What is your favorite thing about Huntingdon?
I love the thrift stores! I get most of my clothes from second hand or thrift stores so I was kind of worried moving from rural Philadelphia to urban Huntingdon that there would be no places for me to shop, little did I know the stores are great! There are a bunch of different thrift stores around sort of specializing in different items. I have gotten to know some of the owners of the shops too so when I walk in they'll point me right to the new items! (Also Meadows soft serve peanut butter chocolate is amazing)

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite Juniata tradition is Tenting! I love this tradition because it is so unique to Juniata. Students get to camp out in tents on the quad for an entire week, competing in competitions like fashion shows and talent shows that are judged by Head Tent, which is the group of students who set up their tent the fastest at the beginning of the week. It all culminates at the end of the week when tenters get first access to tickets for our annual winter dinner/dance, Madrigal! Tenting is a week of competition, fun, sleeping in below freezing temperatures, and knowing that no other college experience could really compare to the one at Juniata - because what other administration would encourage students to turn the quad into a campground?
Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
I chose to transfer to Juniata after my freshman year of college because of the community. Transferring from a huge urban university to a small, rural liberal arts college was a huge change but I knew I made the right decision immediately after I moved in. Everyone I met was so kind and encouraging to me as I navigated my sophomore year at a brand new school, and I almost instantly made lifelong friendships after I joined clubs at Lobsterfest. I received incredible help and encouragement from the Admissions Office, Registrar, and Residential Life as I was going through the transfer process, so I knew from the beginning that I would be supported and cared for during my time at Juniata. And it has only gotten better since then!
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
As a student with an individualized POE, my classes span a wide variety of disciplines so I have gotten the privilege to take classes with many different faculty members. Dr. Donna Weimer and Dr. Lynn Cockett in the Communications department helped tremendously to shape me into the person I am today, as did Dr. Neil Pelkey, my advisor and environmental science professor. I was also given the amazing opportunity to take a class with the provost, Dr. Lauren Bowen, and she has become such an inspiration to me. The professors at Juniata care about their students, which is evident whether you're in the classroom or in their office hours crying about personal issues. They really have our backs here, and being able to build relationships with them has been such a honor.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
Don't limit yourself! Choosing a college is an amazing experience but it can also be very stressful. Understand that the school you choose isn't just going to be the place you take classes. It's going to be the place that helps shape you into the person you've always wanted to be, meaning a college decision shouldn't be based on academics alone. Of course you want your school to have a good program for what you want to study, but the community, professors, administration, and campus should not be overlooked. I transferred to Juniata because I ignored all of those things the first time I was searching for a school, so I think looking into every aspect of a school is super important. So go on overnight visits, take tours, and talk to professors to get a real sense of the schools you're considering (especially Juniata).

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
My favorite Juniata tradition is definitely Tenting. Tenting is where groups of students set up tents and camp out all week doing competitions that lead up to ticket sales for our formal dinner, Madrigal. I love the outdoors and camping so I had a lot of fun.
What is your favorite space on campus?
One of my favorite places on campus is the Environmental Science Lounge. That may sound strange coming from a History student, but one of the clubs I am in holds meetings there every week and they have the comfiest furniture.
What is your favorite thing about Huntingdon?
I like Huntingdon because it is a small town, but also has everything one might need. I come from a very rural area and being able to walk to various stores and restaurants is extremely convenient. I also have family here who own a business in town. If you need something to do check out Weaver the Florist!

Why did you choose Juniata? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?
Going into the natural sciences, it is important to find a school that supports your goals, offers room for exploration, and provides you with opportunities. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with Biology when I started, but through research opportunities, advising, and passionate professors I found a love for Neuroscience research and will be pursuing a PhD to further my education. Juniata also has a very homey and welcoming atmosphere which I found comforting through the college search process and continue to find comforting as a student. The study abroad program also rocks; my picture shows my time in Chile last year- ask me about it!
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
My advisor and research professor Dr. Poole in the Psychology department has been like a second mother to me. She always encourages me to be my best, supports my goals, has written countless letters of recommendation for me, and is a shoulder to lean on in hard times. I couldn’t imagine going to a bigger school where you cannot form these intimate connections.
What advice would you give to a current high school senior?
Don’t be afraid to reach out! As a senior, I was too scared to ever contact current college students even if they offered help. I understand these anxieties and would love to offer some guidance, facts, or even comfort during your search! Don’t let anything scare you from getting the information you need right now- we’ve all been there.

What is your favorite Juniata Tradition? Tell us why you love it.
Tenting! When my friends and I tented together my sophomore year it brought us closer together! Doing random challenges at 3am and huddling together in the cold helped us make unforgettable memories that we will always have together! And we got 5 golden rings so we were kind of a big deal!
Who is a faculty member who you have developed a strong relationship with?
Pam Zilch. I never thought that I would have such a strong connection with a boss. Pam has supported me through the craziness of senior year, been a shoulder to lean on when I needed someone in my corner, and celebrated the mini victories of student teaching and my future career. To me, she is a symbol of what makes Juniata so special —the people.
