In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxJuniataCollege, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxJuniataCollege event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
Innovations Throughout Time
In celebration of 150 years of Juniata College, TEDxJuniataCollege presents “Innovations Throughout Time.” This year’s theme honors the legacy of ingenuity that has shaped our past and propels us into the future. Speakers will explore transformative ideas across science, culture, health, and humanity—reflecting on the past 150 years and imagining what innovation means for the next 150.
