Our Lady Peace is touring in support of its latest album, "Healthy in Paranoid Times," which is the band's seventh album since forming in 1992 in Toronto. The band's current single is number 28 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart. In addition to touring on their own, Our Lady Peace also performed on the Rolling Stones' current tour on several of the British band's Canadian dates.

The members of Our Lady Peace are: Raine Maida, vocalist; Duncan Coutts, bass; Jeremy Taggart, drums; and Steve Mazur, guitar.

The band first gained mainstream attention for its fifth album, "Gravity," which generated the band's most popular hit "Somewhere Out There." The band first received recognition in its native Canada with the album "Naveed," released in the United States in 1995. A single from that album, "Starseed," was a Canadian and U.S. hit and was included on the soundtrack for the action film "Armageddon."

The band released two other albums, "Clumsy" and "Happiness is Not a Fish You Can Catch," in 1997 and 1999, respectively. Hits from those albums include "Clumsy," "4 AM," "Superman's Dead," "One Man Army," "Thief" and "Is Anybody Home?"

In 2000 the band released "Spiritual Machines," which generated the singles "In Repair," "Life" and "Right Behind You (Mafia)."

The band also released "Live," a concert album recorded at concerts in Calgary, Alberta and Montreal, Quebec.

According to the band's publicity, the band recorded about 45 songs for "Healthy in Paranoid Times" before editing and paring down the list of songs to the 13 that appear on the album.
