Zimmerman captured first-team All-Commonwealth Conference honors following the season, the second time in her career she had earned All-Conference laurels. She enjoyed one of her most productive offensive seasons for the Blue and Gold as a senior, while also contributing to the defense from her midfield position. Her defensive contributions helped the Eagles hold opponents to 32 goals in 19 games, for a goals against average of 1.55. She also led the team with three defensive saves.

Over her four-year career Zimmerman played in 75 games, starting 57 of those contests. She passed out 14 assists over her career, which ties for the fifth-highest total in the history of the Juniata field hockey program. She also scored eight goals in her career, with all of those eight coming in her final two seasons. Zimmerman finishes with 30 career points and seven defensive saves.

A co-captain in her final season, Zimmerman helped lead Juniata to some of the most successful seasons in the program's history. Over her four years the team enjoyed a record of 50-32 and earned a pair of appearances in the Commonwealth Conference postseason. She also guided Juniata to a program-record 15 wins and the program's first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament berth.
