There was another pair of point scorers for the team in the 100 breaststroke. Carlie Zoubek (Paul IV/Burke, Va.) earned a sixth-place finish for the Eagles in the event and she was followed two places back by Bair who placed eighth.
Rounding out the individual scoring performances for Juniata on the day was Collin Thompson (Altoona/Altoona) who posted a seventh-place effort in the 100 backstroke.
The Eagles also had a pair of fourth-place relay finishes on the day. The finals began with the team of Sutherland, Zoubek, Musselman and Hanson touching the wall fourth with a time of 1:54.98 in the 200 medley relay. The quartet of Musselman, Sutherland, Hanson and Kasey Brough (Carlisle/Gardners) then claimed a fourth-place effort in the 800 freestyle relay to close competition on day two.
The night featured several more lifetime-best swims from the Eagles as they remain in position to match their best-ever team finish of third, which has been accomplished each of the past two seasons. The Eagles will look to earn that third-place finish when competition concludes Sunday evening.
