Juniata Student Receives Summer Research Fellowship
(Posted March 20, 2006)
Juniata College junior, Tanner Bartholow of Everett, is among 13 U.S. college students selected for the 2006 American Physiological Society Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Program. This summer, Bartholow will conduct research for ten weeks with the guidance of Dr. Gregory Stahl '84, Associate Professor of Anesthesia at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
The summer research fellowship provides students with an opportunity to work in the laboratory of an established investigator. The American Physiology Society aims to excite and encourage students to pursue a career as a basic research scientist.
Bartholow, son of Sandra and Rickey Bartholow, is currently studying biology at Juniata College. He is a 2003 graduate of Everett Area Senior High School.
