Juniata men\'s soccer downed by McDaniel

The Juniata College men\'s soccer team outmatched McDaniel College everywhere but on the scoreboard, falling 2-0 to the Green Terror on Wednesday night in Westminster, Md. Bill Druckenmiller and Brett Russo scored goals for McDaniel, who improved to 5-1 with the win. Juniata dropped to 1-4 with the loss. Freshman Joe Kohler (Vienna, Va./James Madison) made three stops in the Juniata goal, while McDaniel\'s Christian Maisel was credited with five saves. Juniata outshot McDaniel 15-9, and held a 6-4 advantage in corner kick opportunities. Each team was called twice for offsides. The Eagles return to action on Saturday, Sept. 15, when they host Carnegie Mellon at 1:00 p.m on Winton Hill Field. -30-
