Juniata opens Landmark Conference play this weekend by hosting Susquehanna, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Moravian, and Goucher for matches at Memorial Gym in Huntingdon. The field hockey squad (5-1, 0-0 Landmark) won three games last week, including a 1-0 road win over #10 Rowan University, and vaulted to 15th in the rankings issued by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). The Eagle field hockey team has two games on its slate for this week; they will face York College on Thursday, Sept. 20, and return home to host Moravian College on Saturday, Sept. 22. -30-
