WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Lycoming's Chris Lorenzet scored a pair of goals in the first half to help lead Lycoming College past Juniata College 4-0, in men's soccer action Wednesday evening in Williamsport, Pa. Lycoming's Brian Haag put the Warriors on the board in the 17th minute with what proved to be the game-winning goal, with his header past Juniata keeper Ted Sonneborn (Syracuse, N.Y./Manlius Pebble Hill). Kyle Welsh made the cross to Haag and was credited with an assist. Lorenzet scored his first goal of the game just a minute and 10 seconds later, with another header past Sonneborn. The score would remain 2-0 until Lorenzet notched his second goal with just 2:41 remaining in the opening half. Joe Pusateri added an insurance goal in the 67th minute, beating Sonneborn in a one-on-one with a shot to the left side. Sonneborn played all 90 minutes in goal, recording seven saves. Lycoming's Ryan Humphreys was credited with four saves in the shutout victory. Lycoming outshot Juniata 19-5, and had a 5-1 edge in corner kick opportunities. The Eagles (3-6-0, 1-0-0 Landmark) will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 29, when they face Catholic University of America. -30-
