(Posted March 3, 2008)
HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Junior outfielder Adam Spadafora (Asbury, N.J./Pennington School) has been named the Landmark Conference's inaugural Baseball Player of the Week, for the week ending March 2, 2008.
Spadafora led the Eagles offensively over their first three games of Juniata's spring break trip, going 8-for-13 at the plate, with two doubles and seven RBI to go with three stolen bases. In an 18-17 10-inning loss to Lebanon Valley, Spadafora went 4-for-6 with two doubles - including one in the 10th inning that represented the potential game-tying run.
The Eagles have posted a 1-2 record through three games on their 2008 spring break trip to Florida. Juniata will face LaRoche College on Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
