HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata Activities Board, a student-run club that plans and coordinates many of the campus activities throughout the academic year, is histing a "Juniata Up Late" outdoor event featuring a DJ from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 30 in the patio of the Tussey-Terrace Residence Hall on the Juniata campus.

The event, one of several Juniata Up late events to be scheduled through the upcoming year, is designed to introduce the 2012 freshman class and provide socializing opportunities for the student body.

There will be a "foam dance party" which features an inflatable dance floor that emits bubbles as dancers move on the surface.

The State College DJ Local Motion will provide the music for the event. In addition, the students will set up a slip-and-slide on the residence hall lawn, offer a tie-dying activity and allow students to make S'mores on the patio.
