WVB completes three-game sweep of Landmark foes with win over Catholic

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team wrapped up the first of two Landmark Conference round-robin weekends with a 3-0 victory over Catholic University of America, Sunday afternoon in Selinsgrove, Pa.
Set scores were 25-7, 25-16, and 25-14.
Freshman Drew Barnhart (Titusville, Pa./Titusville) led Juniata with seven kills, while junior Megan Sollenberger (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) turned up 12 digs for the Eagles. Sophomore Kristin Noetzel (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley Regional) recorded three blocks during the win, which improved top-ranked Juniata's record to 12-0 overall, 3-0 in Landmark Conference play.
Juniata will face Princeton and Seton Hill University in a triangular on Saturday, Sept. 27, in Greensburg, Pa.
