HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team retained its number one ranking in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, released Tuesday.

The Eagles (19-2, 6-0 Landmark) collected all 24 first-place votes, and sit atop the poll with 600 points.

The next three places in the poll also remain unchanged. Emory remained number two in the poll, followed by La Verne in the third spot, and Washington-St. Louis in the fourth position. Wittenberg moved up to fifth, with St. Thomas (Minn.) falling from fifth into a sixth-place tie with Carthage. Trinity of Texas (8th), Cal State East Bay (9th), and Ohio Northern (10th) round out the top ten.

Juniata will face Christopher Newport and Elizabethtown this Friday in Elizabethtown, Pa., followed by matches against Franklin & Marshall and Haverford on Saturday afternoon in Haverford, Pa.
