SCRANTON, Pa. â?" The Juniata College women's soccer team could not get past University of Scranton keeper Caitlin Byrne, and dropped a 2-0 shutout to the host Royals on Saturday afternoon in Scranton, Pa.

Scranton scored once in each half, notching what proved to be the game winner in the 37th minute when Emily MacPhee put a shot past Juniata keeper Lauren Auster-Gussman (Lancaster, Pa./Lancster Country Day). MacPhee's successful scoring attempt was one of six Scranton shots in the first half alone, as the Royals outshot Juniata 6-2 in the frame and 11-7 overall.
