HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College senior quarterback Jay Leonard (Newville, Pa./Big Spring) was named Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week, for his performance in Juniata's season-ending contest against Dickinson College.

Leonard set one Centennial Conference record and tied another, while accounting for six touchdowns in the Eagles'
53-41 loss at home to Dickinson. He completed 38-of-66 pass attempts for 477 yards and four TDs, while rushing for two more scores. The 38 completions set a new Centennial single game record, and eclipsed the Juniata single game mark of 35 currently held by Greg Troutman (at Waynesburg, 2001).

The 477 yards passing also tied a 17-year old Centennial Conference mark. Leonard's 66 pass attempts matched a Juniata single game record, also held by Troutman (vs. FDU-Madison, 2001).

Leonard finished his career as Juniata's all-time passing leader with 7,610 yards career passing, smashing Troutman's previous record of 6,215 yards.

Leonard shares the honor with Muhlenberg College running back John DeLuca, who rushed for 202 yards with three touchdowns in the Mules' 45-8 victory over Ursinus College.
