HUNTINGDON, Pa. â?" Juniata College will begin its pursuit of a third NCAA women's volleyball national championship this Thursday when its hosts an eight-team NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Regional at the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center.

Juniata (31-4) will face D'Youville College (24-10) out of the North Eastern Athletic Conference in its first game on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 8:30 p.m.

This will be Juniata's 28th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance, dating back to 1981. The Eagles are the only institution to play in every Division III Women's Volleyball Championship tournament, and have never failed to reach at least the quarterfinal round. Juniata last hosted a regional in 2006, eventually going on to win their second NCAA national championship.

Other first round games on Thursday at the Juniata Regional are: Salisbury University (35-1) vs. Richard Stockton College (29-8) at 1:00 p.m.; Eastern University (33-1) vs. Neumann College (18-17) at 3:30 p.m.; and Lebanon Valley College (33-2) vs. Carnegie Mellon University (22-15) at 6:00 p.m.

The four winners of Thursday's games will advance to the regional semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The regional final will be played on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $4 for adults, $3 for students with identification, and $2 for children under 12. Children under two years of age are free.
