KINGS POINT, N.Y -- Juniata College sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) finished fourth overall in the 100 yard Breaststroke, the best individual finish by an Eagle thus far in the Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships and the Juniata highlight of day two results at the meet in Kings Point, N.Y. The United States Merchant Marine Academy is serving as the host institution for the event.

Cooper earned 11 points for the Eagles, after swimming to a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:13.02.

Freshman Jessica Stocker (Buckfield, Maine/Lewiston) brought home another six points for Juniata, with a ninth-place finish in the 100 Backstroke (1:08.40) and an 11th-place finish in the 100 Butterfly (1:07.67). First year swimmer Marysa Milinichik (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) posted a 12th-place finish in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:09.74, earning a single point for the Eagles.

Juniata's 200 Medley Relay squad of Milinichik, Cooper, Stocker, and Rachel Gipe (Portland, Ore./Oregon Episcopal School) finished sixth with a time of 2:01.98, taking 18 points for the Eagles.

Through two days of competition, Juniata is in seventh place with 77 points. The Eagles trail the University of Scranton with 454 points. The Royals are followed by Catholic University (227 pts.), Susquehanna University (227 pts.), Goucher College (187 pts.), Drew University (116 pts.), Merchant Marine (111 pts.), and Juniata.
