Men's tennis improves to 5-2 with win over Emory & Henry

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Juniata College men's tennis won three of six singles matches in straight sets and picked up a fourth on a tiebreaker set to take a 5-4 win over Emory & Henry College (Va.), Wednesday evening in Hilton Head, S.C.
Jonathan Skoner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic), Ryan Navarro (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) and Ross Imbrie (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) all posted two-set wins in singles play, while Aaron Rhodes (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) won his no. 4 singles match over Emory & Henry's Mike Rogers, 6-3, 1-6, 10-6.
Imbrie and Casey Chew (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) notched Juniata's only doubles win with an 8-2 decision over Rogers and Hunter Romano at no. 2 doubles.
The Eagles (5-2) conclude their spring break trip on Thursday when they face Bridgewater College (Va.).
