Men's tennis struggled in final spring break match against Bridgewater

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Juniata College men's tennis team struggled to find a winning groove against Bridgewater College, with Juniata eventually dropping a 9-0 decision on Thursday afternoon in Hilton Head, S.C.
The loss closed out Juniata's spring break trip with a 5-3 overall record, with Landmark Conference play beginning in nine days against the University of Scranton.
Jarrad Silver (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) had the closest match of the day with his battle against Bridgewater's Ryan Radke at no. 2 singles, which Radke eventually won 7-5, 3-6, 10-5.
Jonathan Skoner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) also played a hard-fought match at no. 1 singles, where he dropped a 6-1, 7-5 decision to Brian Remsch.
The Eagles dropped all three doubles matches by an 8-1 score.
